Hi,

We , at last, successfully configured an IEEE802.1x ready access point
using your open1x.authenticator. It authenticates supplicant with MD-5
challenge and EAP-TLS.
The components we selected are:

 OS:
   RedHat 7.3
 Supplicant:
   WindowsXP
 Authenticator:
   open1x.authenticator (version ?)
 Authentication Server:
   FreeRadius 0.5 + EAP-TLS + MPPE patch
 Access point software:
   linux-wlan-ng 0.1.8-pre13
 PCMCIA driver:
   pcmcia-cs.3.1.34
 WLAN Card:
   Planex GeoWave/GW-NS110
 Others:
   LibNet, LibPcap, OpenSSL

Although FreeRadius is sending MPPE-{Send|Recv}-Key, contained in a
radius message, to open1x.authenticator, it doesn't send EAPOL-Key to
supplicant.
I used a FreeRadius patch, contributed by Lars Viklund on 20 June on this ML,
to add generation of MS-MPPE-{Send,Recv}-Key attributes.
I don't know whether the patch is available on any web site or not.

Question:
Does anyone add EAPOL-Key functionality to open1x.authenticator?
