How to integrate Postgresql database with freeradius

Hi there,
 
I am new to freeradius, i am unable to authenticate users from postgresql database.I have created the database "radius", driver for postgresql loads successfully, but when I check the user with radlogin , I get the errors,
 
No connection to server,
query failed,
rejecting user.
 
Kindly help me out.
