Hi

I would guess this is a IP layer issue. Check that you have the appropriate
server = "1.2.3.4" directive in your radiusd.conf file. Also check that
there's an LDAP listening on port 389 of that IP. (and that it's reachable).
Try and see if you can use the ldapsearch tool to make a query for initial
debugging.

i have 2 openldap server and one freeradius server
i get the following result when the radiusd connect to one of server

rlm_ldap: bind as cn=xxxx,o=p.net.hk/xxxxx
rlm_ldap: ldap_simple_bind()
rlm_ldap: cn=xxxx,o=p.net.hk bind failed: Can't contact LDAP
server
rlm_ldap: (re)connection attempt failed

Anyway, when use the same root DN to connect to another ldap server, there
is no problem. Why?
