Sure did search the archives. I would not dream of posting to a mailing list with out giveing it the old college try. Even the howto sites that I found with google on this subject do not make mention of user file or what I had to do to make this work. Which by the way was to add ( not uncomment ) a chap section near the top of radiusd.conf in the modules section. I did see PAP & MS-CHAP etc.. there. I think it would be a good idea to atleast have a commented out CHAP there as well. > > Is there anything I need to do to the user file or make changes to the > > radiusd.conf file. I did not edit in any way the user file. I am happy that it is working and will now try and figure out why the dialup admin is not working. (click on add user and the form does not appear in the right frame) While no one will argue that the docs need improving, I am very inpressed with this software. A great deal of though has gone into this software. Thanks for all the help, Rick - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe? See http://www.freeradius.org/list/users.html
