Hi all,

I work for an ISP, and we are currently looking to change our radius system.
The reason being that we currently sub-out the radius bit, and it's rather
pricey, so it's obviously cheaper if we can bring it in-house.
We currently use RH 7.2 and MySQL as the basis for all of our servers.

I pretty much know that I will also need 'killradius' add-on as well, but I
don't know what else.

We need authentication for dial-up service via BT webports, with the added
complications that we offer:

1) 24/7 access (this should be easy, just straight authentication.)
2) 2 hours per day access (is this where the kill module comes in?)
3) unlimited access only between 3am - 8am (suggestions....)

It would also be nice to link to authenticate for the pop3 server (postfix),
just to avoid having loads of different user/password lists to keep up to
date.

Is freeradius the software we are looking for?!?

Regards,
Keith
