I agree. I wish I could. Freeradius has worked fine for me if I wanted to authenticate users from user/password in flat file and accounting in MySQL but I need to be able to authenticate with user/passwords from MySQL. If I cannot do that, then I'll be forced to look at another solution such as Radiator, which is not free. Does anybody use Freeradius, storing accounting and user/passwords in MySQL, and use PAP for authentication? I would assume that this should be fairly simple to configure, but the solution eludes me.
