  That's weird...

  My suggestion is to disable the EAP module.  Go to 'Make.inc', and
delete it from the list of MODULES.

  Ask the Apple people what the heck those messages mean, because I've
never seen them on any other platform.  The EAP module doesn't use
those symbols it's complaining about, so the only way for this to
happen is if Apple has done something weird with their OS.
