I found that the problem was with the new version of openldap I was
running.  The new version needed to be configured to allow encrypted
passwords and recompiled (the previous version had this turned on by
default).  Once I did that, everything started working again.  So there
doesn't appear to be a problem with radius.

Hello, could you do a cvs update and check the latest version of
rlm_ldap? I 've
made a few changes which should normally eliminate the problem.
