hi Iam a newbie to LDAP and RADIUS, forgive me if this is too novice question here.
I have my openldap working. I installed freeradius0.7.1 im trying to connect to my LDAP my 'radiusd -X -A' gives me this error rlm_ldap: - authorize rlm_ldap: performing user authorization for reddy radius_xlat: '(uid=reddy)' radius_xlat: 'dc=example,dc=com' ldap_get_conn: Got Id: 0 rlm_ldap: attempting LDAP reconnection rlm_ldap: (re)connect to localhost:389, authentication 0 rlm_ldap: setting TLS mode to 4 rlm_ldap: bind as cn=root,dc=example,dc=com to localhost:389 rlm_ldap: waiting for bind result ... rlm_ldap: cn=root,dc=example,dc=com bind to localhost:389 failed Protocol error rlm_ldap: (re)connection attempt failed rlm_ldap: search failed ldap_release_conn: Release Id: 0 modcall[authorize]: module "ldap" returns fail modcall: group authorize returns fail There was no response configured: rejecting request 0 Server rejecting request 0. Finished request 0 what does this error mean? Where am I doing the blunder?
