I did update the following freeRADIUS files according to my network configuration:

clients.conf, radiusd.conf and users. That's why I said I followed the HOW-TO doc's.

I've updated the above RADIUS config files, my "xsupplicant" program sits saying:

root@tstpc01: .../bin > ./xsupplicant -i pinoccio0 -n rtest -a 004096577e54
Setup on device pinoccio0 complete
Please provide the password for private keys:

Connection Established, authenticating...
Connection Established, authenticating...
Connection Established, authenticating...
Connection Established, authenticating...

did you add the client in your clients.conf?


generally: you shouldn't blindly follow the howtos, try to understand
what you are doing.
