ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)

Hi,

I have just installed freeradius 0.8 on Linux. How can we connect the mysql server running on different machine,what changes are required to make mysql client contact the server running on different machine,always i am getting

ERROR 2002: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)

Can anyone help me out of this problem, Thanks in Advance
