I performed few tests with FreeRadius 0.8, Oracle 8.1.7 and 'users' file and in following configuration:

PC Sun Ultra 80
CPU 450-MHz UltraSPARC-II x 2
RAM 1024 MB
RADIUS clients (LoadRunner 7.51, client of RADIATOR 3.3) were run from another PC.
Results are really nice. See following comparison with RAD-R 6.0 (Interlink Networks, Inc.; www.interlinknetworks.com) in the same conditions.
Mode 1. Maximal possible load from 1 client
