Set up a user on the remote server, as suggested in the FAQ. (user 'bob', password 'bob'). Test it, to be sure it works. Then on the proxy server, set up a realm 'bob', which points to the remote server. When you send packets: User-Name = "bob@bob", User-Password = "bob" to the proxy server, it should strip the realm, and forward the request to the home server.
