freeradius' accounting will return whatever the NAS server says to it.

Look for "Acct-Terminate-Cause"... some of the values you'll find are:

User-Request - User actually properly temrinated the call.
Lost-Carrier - Customer went away unexpectedly.
Idle-Timeout - Self explanatory.
User-Error = I'm not sure to be honest.  Probably means they didn't send
useful information to the NAS
NAS-Error = I'm not sure about this one either, but probably means
something's acting funky.

... my portmasters return a "LE-Terminate-Detail" to give a little more
information, and my USR TC servers return a USR-HARC-Disconnect-Code that
does something like that.
