Using 0.8.1 on FreeBSD 4.3 w/MySQL. We only proxy with this setup.

radiusd.conf has all of the default settings for timeouts and retries,
etc.

We use several networks. All work fine except one that uses Ascend TNTs.
We've had no problems with our other setup, which is using ICRadius. Our
freeradius log created using -X indicates that the request comes through,
is passed onto the auth server, the ok comes back, our proxy logs it as
[Login OK] and sends it off to the NAS. Somewhere between us and the NAS,
the connection is broken. According to the network, the modem on the NAS
reports a disconnect code of 185, which indicates the remote end hung up,
obviously not thhe case. Nothing is returned to us, and out radius.log
shows [Login OK]. The radacct table in MySQL does not record anything.

I can post all of the rad_recv, Access-Accept, etc info from the log if
anybody wants to see it, but there isn't anything out of the ordinary.

Questions:

1. Are there any known issues with Ascend MaxTNTs? If so, what would be
the fix?

2. Would adjusting any time settings in radiusd.conf help? (I don't see
how, but thought I'd ask...)

thanks,
Jim
