I've got freeradius working fine in debug mode (radiusd -X) on a Red Hat 7.3 box. But when I try to start it in daemon mode (radiusd), it says it's reading the config file, but it doesn't start. I can make it start by changing radiusd.conf so that User=root instead of User=nobody, but I gather you're not supposed to do that. Any idea how I can make radiusd start without root permissions? Thanks. -Glenn.
