ok, as 3rd party of course. typically to pay extra. i.e. if benoit just does some tests, he will probably not pay anything. anyway, neither peap nor ttls is supported by our backend here so it's a bit pointless...
There are always trial versions available for testing purposes ;-)
But indeed, neither peap nor ttls is supported by FreeRadius :-| That's a pity (as far as TTLS is concerned ;-)).
But there are already more supplicants that support TTLS I guess, and more platforms as well... If we all use TTLS one day it beats PEAP ;-) (If there is any quest already.)
in contrary, do you know of a eap/tls for pocket pc? and what is the linux client for ttls you are talking about?
Yes, Meetinghouse has supplicant-software in Beta, see
http://www.meetinghousedata.com/newsevents/pressreleases/pocketpc022603.shtml
It's free for download and 30 days use at http://www.mtghouse.com/support/downloads/index.shtml
Supports TTLS and TLS... (Oh, and leap, peap and md5 as well ;-))
Meetinghouse has linux clients too... Hmm, now I look at their website I see that it has no TTLS support, that's a pity. Maybe funk. Hmm...
An advantage of TTLS I forgot to mention is that when PAP or CHAP is not the best authentication method, one can always use EAP /over/ TTLS as well, so in fact there are many authentication protocols supported within TTLS :-) This is nice when it turns out TTLS is not the way to go, but the complete infrastructure uses it already: it's always good (and of course open standard).
