Hi,
i?am looking for a feature in freeradius and originaly in Cistron to strip,
from all incoming requests befor they are rocessed any furter, a specific part of the
loginstring.
eg. asume people are login in with foo/[EMAIL PROTECTED] so i like to strip foo/ from
all requests like they had connected without foo/
Any furter processing should then be based on [EMAIL PROTECTED] also proxying the
requesed based on bar should be possible (with nostrip
so endradius will see [EMAIL PROTECTED])
Is there a feature like this ? and if yes how to configure ?
I had something i mind maybe it is already the right way, have not tested yet.

End server
hints file:
DEFAULT Prefix = "foo/", Strip-User-Name = Yes
realms file:
.bar radius.foo.bar nostrip,hints
users file:
DEFAULT Realm != ""
Reply-Message = "hey, it works"

Does someone know if this then will work for Cistron as well ?
I use Cistron an it proved stable to me so i like to stay there as long as possible.
