Hi all, hoping this'll be a simple question. I am attempting to use freeradius to authenticate mac addresses connecting to my network from wireless laptops via Cisco Aironet access points . I have an aironet device ip address entered in the clients.conf file, and an entry for a wireless laptop in the users file.
I understand from the Cisco website that the users file entry should consist of the the mac address in question as the username and the password. I have done this and used the keyword Auth-Type = local. I am seeing the Aironet trying to authenticate the laptop to the radius server, but the authentication isn't succeeding.
