Regarding the crypt mutex problem: I have just patched freeradius that it uses PAP auth if requested. It will autodetect the scheme by looking for either Password or Crypt-Password pairs. Works fine. Next steps: - Make auth.c use rlm_pap instead of doing Local or Crypt-Local on its own. - Move the mutex back to rlm_pap. - Look after rlm_unix which uses also crypt.
