hi,

i have installed the freeradius 0.8.1 RPM from mandrake on a mandrake 9.1 system and
also the same distri with a cistron 1.6.6 on another server.

now i have following problem:
within the hints file i have defined several "pools" for a cisco router with are
seperated trough the PREFIX.

example from hints file:
DEFAULT Prefix = "n", Strip-User-Name = No
        Auth-Type = Local,
        Hint = "Poelten",
        Cisco-AVPair = "ip:addr-pool=noe",
        Service-Type = Framed-User,
        Framed-Protocol = PPP,
        Fall-Through = Yes
DEFAULT Prefix = "o", Strip-User-Name = No
          Auth-Type = Local,
        Hint = "Linz",
        Cisco-AVPair = "ip:addr-pool=ooe",
        Service-Type = Framed-User,
        Framed-Protocol = PPP,
        Fall-Through = Yes
DEFAULT Prefix = "w", Strip-User-Name = No
        Auth-Type = Local,
        Hint = "Vienna",
        Cisco-AVPair = "ip:addr-pool=wie",
        Service-Type = Framed-User,
        Framed-Protocol = PPP,
        Fall-Through = Yes

on the cistron install this works fine and every user is given the correct "pool".
on the freeradius install i allways get the first defined pool, in my example
'Cisco-AVPair = "ip:addr-pool=noe"' -> within the radiusd.conf file i have set the
compat users mode to cistron.

is this a generell known problem ?
or a rpm specific ?
any ideas ?

best regards
hannes fuchs
