importing db_postgresql.sql file

Hi all   I'm trying to import the db_postgresql.sql file that comes with =  freeradius-0.9.0-pre3=20  into postgres.   I'm using \copy /filename and I get the following error :  \copy : parse error at end of line   Any idea what may be causing this ?   Thanks  Barry
