Also to know a little about the RADIUS thing will be great. Well, regarding your last question, you dont run your server with any arguments at all, just run it as radiusd the detail files are created on the fly and rotated every XX time if you have configured the right things in radiusd.conf see the file doc/rlm_detail from the source distribution.
