Nope. Freeradius _was_ in Debian before the last release ("Woody"),
but the Debian maintainer (Chad Miller, who's still a developer of
FreeRadius) considered that the version of the time (0.5, I think)
was too buggy to be released with Debian/stable, and the release
manager managed to yank it from the whole distribution instead.

We've since reworked the Debian packaging of Freeradius, and I
was planning to try and get FreeRadius back into Debian with the
0.9 release (and now that we have a target for the next Debian
release, it's doubly important), but the 0.9 release co-incided
with my Debian/unstable development machine dying.

I'll soon have my laptop in the state of a development machine,
and will then attempt to get FreeRadius back into Debian, either
with myself or someone else (I don't mind) as the maintainer.

Until then, dpkg-buildpackage is the way to get a Debian package
for FreeRadius. And will probably be the only way to get
freeradius-cvs, unless we take advantage of Debian/experimental.
(Which is an option if I'm the maintainer, but that's not given...)

I'm always happy to hear about bugs in the Debian build process.
No, let me rephrase that. If there are bugs in the Debian build
process, I'm happy to hear them. I'm happier if there are no bugs,
but I'm not that delusional. :-)
