This is one point where I will be rude: Bullshit. It is not possible for an Intel Prowireless 5000 Access Point to communicate with an RFC compatible RADIUS server. It has nothing at all to do with FreeRADIUS, and everything to do with the fact that the AP is broken. They have chosen to do incredibly stupid things in the AP. In fact, they have gone out of their way to write additional code in the AP, to add additional restrictions on top of the RADIUS protocol which end up breaking the AP.
