Hello, I am currently trying out FreeRadius, I already have 2 servers with the cistron radius installed. These servers contain different users, so it's not a backup radius server. I want to check usernames/passwords with a third server with FreeRadius installed.
It works, but I have to use a realm for one server and it default to the second server. I don't want to use realms, just plain usernames. There are distinctions between the usernames on both servers, can I do something with that ? One server has only users with numeric logins, the other server users all start with the same letters. I had the same problem with an external authenticator with squid, but wrote an authenticator in perl myself to check both servers and only give back one OK if the authentication succeeds one of them them.
