That's the intention, but there are some problematic files, most of which I removed from my Debian-intended version. I _think_ the current feeling is that libradius isn't ready to be split off from the freeradiusd main section itself, and so I've made no effort in that direction. The freeradius-autoconf thing in the diff is a good example of that. Do you have a use for libradius at the moment? > I uploaded my diff to > http://people.debian.org/~erich/freeradius_0.9.1-cvs20031001-0.diff.gz Please inline diffs, it makes them much easier to discuss. :-) > Other Changes: > * really clean-up config.sub and config.guess (don't use .orig, they > are killed by dh_clean. use .dist) and restore them afterwards Blarg. Thanks for that. > * rm some files that aren't clean (libtool and such related) src/modules/rlm_sql/drivers/lib is already being cleaned up, as of the other day. (Since your snapshot, from the look of it) libltdl/stamp-h1 is some weird problem with the build system, where the regexp that's supposed to pick that up isn't. Should be an upstream fix, not a Debian fix to my mind. > the way i build the -dev package isn't nice imho. But i have too little > experience with building C libraries, libtool and such to do this > properly... I really don't want to try splitting off libradius until we upgrade to automake2.5 and the requisite libtool stuff. And that's lower priority than getting 0.9.2 out the door just now. -- Paul "TBBle" Hampson Bubblesworth Pty Ltd (ABN: 51 095 284 361) [EMAIL PROTECTED] On a sidewalk near Portland State University someone wrote `Trust Jesus', and someone else wrote `But Cut the Cards'. - List info/subscribe/unsubscribe?
