Hi;

I am trying to authenticate Windows XP clients (using PEAP) through a
Lucent WavePoint-II AP using IEEE 802.1x and a freeradius server. I am
using the snapshot-20031023 in Linux Red Hat 7.2 machine. The version of
the openssl I am using is openssl-0.9.7c.

The configuration I have in the radiusd.conf is the following:

eap {
                default_eap_type = ttls

                timer_expire     = 60

                ignore_unknown_eap_types = no

                md5 {
                }

                leap {
                }

                tls {
                        private_key_password = whatever
                        private_key_file = /etc/1x/cert-srv.pem
                        certificate_file = /etc/1x/cert-srv.pem
                        CA_file = /etc/1x/root.pem
                        dh_file = /etc/1x/dh
                        random_file = /etc/1x/random
                }

                ttls {
                        default_eap_type = md5
                }

                 peap {
                        default_eap_type = mschapv2
                }

                mschapv2 {
                }
        }

The other parameters are set as default in the radiusd.conf.

In the users file I have one user configure: inigo Auth-Type := EAP and
some User-Password.

Even if the modules seem to be loaded ok, the peap authentication
doesnt seem to start. This is the debug information I have from the
server:

+ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/openssl/lib
+ LD_PRELOAD=/usr/local/openssl/lib/libcrypto.so
