i'm sorry to take your time (since it's not really freeradius related). while i believe to understand the minor differences between the GPL/OpenSSL licenses, i do not understand why and how e.g. the IETF standard tracks (like e.g. 2243 or 2289) do not comply to the DFSG? i do understand the difference to the informational IETF documents as e.g. rfc2869 which preserve the explicit rights of the author, but why the standard tracks? why wouldn't it apply to TLS e.g.? would you kindly explain this?
