That's curious. I explicitly reinstalled OpenSSL and ensured that the old
OpenSSL was moved to one side. I also explicitly specified the new OpenSSL
libraries and includes in the configure line.

That worked, unfortunately, the radiusd now dumps core when it receives a
standard request, which is served by an Auth-Type := System.
