I have searched the mail archive for posts on SecureID support. I found a couple of hits from back in 2001. Does FreeRADIUS support SecureID today?
No (not yet?). I want the same feature. I intend to run the Ace Server's own RADIUS server (which uses its own braindead GUI/CUI/FUI, etc.) for radius access to SecurID. I then intend to use FreeRADIUS as the frontend or proxy server. When I need a login to be SecurID authenticated it can refer the work to the Ace server. Other logins can use the FreeRADIUS server directly.
If I have time and can figure it out, I may try writing an rlm_securid module. How hard can that be ;-)?
BTW: In my searches for a RADIUS implementation that support SecurID, the best I could find was the old Livingston code. All the derivatives seem to have dropped it.
