I'm trying to implement a network using IEEE 802.1x protocol and a
freeradius authentication server with a cisco switch (3550). The idea is
workstation<------->switch<------->freeradius, all connected with wire.
The problem is that I want to work with VLAN, provided that i have a
switch, so I need to store within the freeradius in which VLAN belong
each user. How I do that?
With the driver xsupplicant on a linux workstation I only have to worry
where I store the information and how the freeradius sends it to the
switch allowing (or not) the user to log in their VLAN. Don't I? All under
EAP authentication protocols (802.1x).
Thank you for your attention, given my poor English level.
Thanks indeed!!!
