Hi!

The new versions of xfreerdp (I’m using 0.8.2) can established TLS encrypted connections. It is working well, but I get a verify error:

connecting to ex2010.ads.consistec.de:3389
TLS Encryption negotiated
ssl_verify: error 20 (see 'man 1 verify' for more information)
certificate details:
  Subject:
    countryName               = DE
    stateOrProvinceName       = Saarland
    localityName              = Saarbr\FCcken
    organizationName = consistec Engineering & Consulting GmbH
    commonName                = ex2010.ads.consistec.de
  Issued by:
    countryName               = DE
    stateOrProvinceName       = Saarland
    localityName              = Saarbr\FCcken
    organizationName = consistec Engineering & Consulting GmbH
    commonName = consistec Server CA 2008-2012
The server could not be authenticated. Connection security may be compromised!
TLS connection established

But I can verify the server certificate with openssl s_client and -CApath /etc/ssl/certs or -CAfile /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt.

What is wrong here? Thanks for your answers.

Shade and sweet water!

        Stephan
