Hi, This has been discussed some time ago, and now I have moved the static library channels/libcommon into libfreerdputils so that it can be properly linked by the channel plugins and save some binary code. The unicode stuff in libcommon has been removed and replaced with freerdp_uniconv_* written by Marc. This will also allow some common stuff be used in other parts, not just the channel plugins.
I started this pull request and will merge it soon, if no one has concern.
