It does and quite well; I use it in daily basis and been supporting it into OpenEmbedded and Yocto for a while. This is also supported by OpenWRT and other embedded toolkits. The biggest issue with cmake is that we need to create a toolchain description file and this is confusing for starters but it works very well after this stage. -- Otavio Salvador O.S.
