Hi FreeRDP developers,
In an effort to improve efficiency on ARM, I have worked on setting up a
good development environment where I can cross-compile on my desktop
computer and run FreeRDP on my pandaboard.
My pandaboard runs Ubuntu 11.04 for ARM, and I am using a chroot environment
with the same version of Ubuntu on my desktop computer. I took notes on how
to create the chroot environment and cross-compile FreeRDP here:
http://www.freerdp.com/wiki/doku.php?id=arm_cross_compiling
On the pandaboard, I have installed all required dependencies, and I use
sshfs to make the filesystem of my chroot environment accessible to the
pandaboard. If you manage to make the absolute paths match between the
pandaboard and the chroot environment, you'll be able to use the
libtool-generated wrapper scripts directly, meaning you won't have to
install the binaries to another location to be able to run them after.
I'd like to thank the people from the linaro project for their help setting
this up.
Best regards,
- Marc-Andre

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
