I have waited to see where you were heading with 1.0 and I haven't tried 
to follow your pace of development. It will take some time to catch up.

Did you end up with some show-stopping CLA paperwork? Or is it still 
just the simple inbound=outbound=ASL2 principle?

As far as I know the old master branch still has better support for 
redirect than most other rdp clients, so it can't be that serious ...

With 0.9 being a dead end that never will be released there is not much 
motivation for improving it.

You can however try to configure --with-debug and send us the output and 
a description of the setup and the problem.
