this is just an fyi but I just thought I'd ask so as not to assume others were aware of this project as I wasn't::
http://scarygliders.net/2012/06/20/x11rdp-o-matic-and-rdpsesconfig-version-2/ I just discovered it last week and used it to automagically GIT and Build the latest xrdp & x11rdp on my Ubuntu 12.04 system which I was then able to connect to with freerdp from another linux pc. the git/build worked great and it did give me the ability to freerdp to another linux system running both xrdp & x11rdp. I had not known that the default xrdp server for linux utilizes a vncserver and not x11rdp brefore and the performance of the xrdp server did improve once I'd built the x11rdp and could tell the xrdp server to use RDP for the connection from my freerdp client. brian ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
