Hi everybody. I'm running Fedora 18 with FreeRDP 1.0.1-7 and I'm running
into issues making use of the RDP 7.0 multi-monitor support. My current
setup has 6 1080p monitor in a 3 x 2 array that hits 5760x2160. This is
powered by an ATI HD 7870 eyefinity 6 with 6 mini displayport outputs, so
no xinerama is setup, just xrandr(single gpu). Whenever I try to connect to
the box with the -f flag it goes into span mode hitting the max of 4096 x
2048. From my research I believe RDP 7.0 supports multiple monitors outside
of spanning that allows for combined resolutions of this size as long as
each individual monitor doesn't exceed the limit, and that this extension
has been implemented in FreeRDP. As I understand it using the -f flag it
should pick up on a multi-monitor setup and set up the display accordingly,
however if it detects that the remote machine doesn't support this
extension it will revert to span mode. The machine I'm connecting to is
running Windows 7 Enterprise so this feature should be supported, and I'm
not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any ideas/help would be appreciated. Thanks.
