Just an additional note to people try to get this to work: If you force the
security level to RDP level security on the terminal server, the monitor
setting is *not* respected, only if the security level is set to "Negotiate"
or "TLS" (terms estimated from german).
Marc-André, it looks like there's a small flaw in protocol handling, when RDP
level security is enforced. It might be a server bug, but I wouldn't expect
that. This is related to an 1.0.2 implementation (attached), as current git
segfaults with smartcards.
Both builds are available for various openSUSE distributions (11.1 - 12.3,
SLES 11 SP{1,2}) from my openSUSE Build Service project:

I named the FreeRDP 1.1.0 git version freerdp11 in order to allow installing
both without conflicts (apart from the -devel package, of course).
