I think this was already fixed in git with
https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/pull/2040
and for master there is also already a pull request pending
https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/pull/2051.
As soon as this is merged, can try the following:
/usr/bin/xfreerdp /u:MicrosoftEmailAddress /p:{Password} /v:{IP}
