Hello Everybody,

I don't really know why, but playing flash content or HTML5 video content of
the internet is always slow in RDP sessions to termianlservers, even using
mstsc. I don't really know how good this works on virtual desktops, I've never
tried it myself, but accordaing to videos, the results are amazing. Perhaps
this has to do with those RemoteFX virtual GPUs in virtual desktops vs. the
terminalservers' soft GPUs. But one would think although it is a GPU emulated
in software it would be enough for wathing a video ...

Is it just me experiencing this kind of issue? Maybe I've just configured
something wrong, ...
I would be glad about feedback from other people using terminalservers.

However, in Windows Server 2012 and RDP 8.1 things went a lot better, but
videos still seam to be not really fluently. Perhaps just on my system, of
course.
And if not, what could we do about it? Maybe blowing dust away from flash
player redirection? I know flash player is propably damned to die, but maybe
one could also try to redirect HTML5 content, just as an idea.
On the other hand this things are all bypassing RDP.
But I have no idea what else could be done.

Would be nice to hear from you,
Kind Regards,

Thomas
