I had tried to manually compile the test. I was running a copy of freerdp-nightly pulled from git, then built into a debian package using /usr rather than /opt/freerdp-nightly. I tried today using the prebuilt deb packages that install to /opt and things now seem to be working fine. I'm not sure of the cause, but there must have been some issue with how I was building the Debian freerdp package.
