I'm on OS X 10.11.4 (El Capitan). I'm trying to connect to a laptop running Windows 10 on my same local network (which has remote desktop enabled).
I'm trying to connect with: FreeRDP/client/Mac/cli/MacFreeRDP.app/Contents/MacOS/MacFreeRDP /v:192.168.0.7 /u:tmarks /d:XXXXXX /p:xxxx Here's the output I get: 2016-05-01 10:57:00.339 MacFreeRDP[61950:2129285] void * _Nullable NSMapGet(NSMapTable * _Nonnull, const void * _Nullable): map table argument is NULL [10:57:00:962] [61950:00323000] [ERROR][com.freerdp.core.nla] - SPNEGO failed with NTSTATUS: C000006D [10:57:00:962] [61950:00323000] [ERROR][com.freerdp.core] - freerdp_set_last_error Unknown error class [0xC000006D] [10:57:00:962] [61950:00323000] [ERROR][com.freerdp.core.rdp] - rdp_recv_callback: CONNECTION_STATE_NLA - nla_recv_pdu() fail [10:57:00:962] [61950:00323000] [ERROR][com.freerdp.core.transport] - transport_check_fds: transport->ReceiveCallback() - -1 2016-05-01 10:57:00.602 MacFreeRDP[61950:2129327] ConnectionResult event result:-1 2016-05-01 10:57:00.603 MacFreeRDP[61950:2129285] void * _Nullable NSMapGet(NSMapTable * _Nonnull, const void * _Nullable): map table argument is NULL 2016-05-01 10:57:09.717 MacFreeRDP[61950:2129285] Stopping... 2016-05-01 10:57:09.717 MacFreeRDP[61950:2129285] Stopped. I'm able to use Microsoft's official RDC app and connect with the same ip, username, domain, and password just fine. I’ve looked around and found that C000006D means STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE. My understanding is that means the user I’m trying to specify is invalid… but that doesn’t make sense, because I can plug the same information into the official RDC app from Microsoft and it works fine. So what am I doing wrong? How can I debug this further? Is there some other settings I should include? Is Windows 10 just not supported as a client? Is there something I can do to help in that case?
