The problem here, albiet solvable, is that I need to know size of current desktop (we use diskless linux-based remote terminals to access windows machine) and calculate appropriate size option. And this one never worked for me for whatever reason. Used various combinations, various scaling factors, etc, the result is that all this stuff seems to be completely ignored. No matter whenever the remote is win7 or 10, pro or corporate, the result is always the same - 1:1 scaling. That's the main reason why I wrote the original email. I can hope that at least current win10 should support this? Or maybe there's something which needs to be adjusted on the win side (on win7, the remote scaling parameters are disabled when logging in remotely). > for details just run xfreerdp whithout arguments and some help is printed.
