Hi team,

I have a unique use case for smart card where I have a smart card device
physically plugged into a remote machine and have a corresponding pair of smart
card certificate and PIN available on the client side. In this setup, I want to
use the certificate/PIN pair to authenticate against a directory service
managing the remote machine in order to establish an RDP session. I believe
this is very similar to an ordinary smart card use case except that there is no
need for smart card redirection since the device is directly/physically
connected to the remote machine (i.e. device is already available on the remote
machine even without redirection). Am I right in thinking that my use case is
the same as the typical smart card use case minus smart card redirection? Also,
is this use case supported by Windows FreeRDP client (wfreerdp)? i.e. Does
wfreerdp support smart card logon?

Thank you,
Jun Yoon
