Hello

We've just switched to latest Raspbian from 08/20 and it looks much better with performance, even better than Rpi3.

Hi,

FreeRDP performance is up to the following factors:

* Network latency/throughput (obviously)

* CPU performance (all encoding/decoding of the protocol is done there)

* Graphics Performance (we need to push the decoded images to the
graphics card fast)

So, to tune performance check:

  1. Use a SSL library with hardware acceleration support if available

  2. Check you use a graphics stack which is FAST for pushing images from
memory, there have been issues with previous PI versions as well

  3. There is some limited hardware acceleration support via FFMPEG
decoding for some parts (audio and AVC444 video)

Hello

Some time ago, we've noticed that freeRDP 2.x performs worse on Rpi4
than Rpi3.
Is there any info about Rpi4 libraries being rewritten by
community/foundation from scratch to make it work best on Rpi4? Many
thanks
