Frank,

Set a password on the user of the windows 10 machine, and also add your
user to the remote desktop users group, then try to connect via RDP.

* On the Windows machine, run:
compmgmt.msc
  * Go to: System Tools \ Local Users and Groups \ Users
  * right click to reset password, and in properties add user to Remote
Desktop Users group.

# Then try to connect, such as:
xfreerdp /v:192.168.1.252 /u:user /p:password12345 /gdi:hw /gfx:rfx /f
/sound

# To toggle full screen: <left CTRL> + <left Alt> + <enter>
