Hey Dave, I just tried FreesBIE v1.1. I actually got it to load and run. Before, I just got the splash screen. I thought it was dead. But I diddled with some keys, and it showed that it was actually booting in the background. Which key(s) get rid of the splash screen? In Windows, it's the 'Esc' key. I don't recall what I pressed this time. If I had my way, I'd get rid of the splash screen--I like to see everything that's going on. It asked me about keyboard settings, etc. I would think that the default would be U. S. layout since most users would be this category. In any case, the most popular should be first, then the other options. On booting, the mouse doesn't do anything so it's pretty useless to me. Can't find a way to navigate the screen to activate FireFox, etc. Is there some trick? In Windows, the 'TAB', arrow, etc. keys allows navigation, Alt-TAB switches programs. No luck in FreesBie. Can't do anything, so I tried to shutdown. Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't do anything. Nor does Alt-F4. How do I get out safely???? Help!!!
