mplayer with FreeBSD/FreeSBIE

I wonder why is it so hard to find a "wish list" if
there is already knoppix phenomenon out there (both
the 'technical' and 'social' one) ;-)
But anyway here it goes (and I hope this short "new"
list does not give you guys qualms):
._ make sure mplayer works
._ bash shell should be included, maybe it should be
the shell
._ FreeBSD a la Debian/debootstrap + base-config
._ do not include vi and emacs and nano and ... (why
so many editors? just vi + Kate is fine)
._ have a FreeSBIE baseline with three complete
functional options for application stack, namely;
media-rich user, development and server with scripts
to enhance/change them
._ go to knoppix.net and try to search and stratify
the numerous issues with the applications users have
. . .

yes, a DSL modem

an ethernet (as I said, I see my NIC displayed as:
"x10 3COM 3c90x/3c90xB PCI ethernet card" )
